Science-led formulation development, from problem to characterized prototype.
Our background
Our scientific team brings more than twenty years of work in physical chemistry, nanotechnology and advanced formulation science, and more than one hundred international publications. The nanocarrier programme has run since 2020.
What we develop
- Nanocarrier systems designed around a specific active and a specific delivery goal
- Dual-loading strategies – hydrophilic and lipophilic actives in a single vesicle
- Solubilization of poorly water-soluble compounds
- Extraction and characterization of bioactive compounds from natural sources
- Optimization of existing formulations that underperform
Where the work is done
Development is carried out in the laboratories of the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, under a research collaboration. This gives us routine access to instrumentation that is rarely available to a formulation house:
- EPR spectrometer with X-band (9.5 GHz) and L-band (1.2 GHz) bridges, with 1D/2D/3D imaging
- Dynamic light scattering and zeta potential
- HPLC-Orbitrap mass spectrometry
- UV-Vis, FTIR, Raman, DSC
How we work with partners
- Define the problem. What the active is, what it must do, and where the current formulation fails.
- Design the carrier. Platform, lipid composition and loading strategy chosen for that specific case.
- Characterise properly. Size, distribution, charge, cargo localisation, membrane order, stability.
- Test performance. Antioxidant capacity, skin penetration, stability over time.
- Deliver. A pilot batch and a characterisation report you can act on.
We work under confidentiality agreements as a matter of course. Your formulations, data and results remain yours.
